Micropub
In July 2017 The Consortium opened its doors for the first time joining the Micropub revolution. Nestled in the heart of Louth’s market centre its humble beginnings started offering four ales and a single larger at the bar. As time passed and in 2022 the pub had four weekly changing ales, four craft beers, and two lagers’ whilst also offering real ciders from all across the UK.
Alongside the growth of the pub came the birth of The Consortium Microbrewery. In 2021 a three-barrel plant was built to offer self-made ales to customers and in early 2022 following continuous growth a distillery was added to the pubs ongoing expansion. Following this The Consortium was able to offer Gins, Vodkas, and Rums to their collection.
Now The Consortium boasts having more the six hundred ales on the bar over the last seven years, celebrating everything wonderful about the art of craft beers, spirits, and everything in between.
The Consortium holds yearly beer festivals around easter time and welcome any visitors for a fantastic time.
